5.12.08 Dance Division Sizes: The school enrollment ranges that determine the dance division sizes for varsity dance teams were analyzed based on TDI Membership data, presented and discussed at the 4/13/08 Spring Ahead meeting, revised and updated for the 08-09 contest season. TDI They are:

2008-2009 TDI Dance Division enrollment ranges

A= up to 1300

AA= 1301 to 2080

AAA= 2081 and above

( Note: TDI's ranges differ from IHSA )

Please note that these will be based on the official ADJUSTED IHSA member school enrollments and classifications for 2008-09 school year. These adjusted enrollments are based upon the previous year's attendance, as reported by schools to the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) on September 30, 2007, in the annual Fall Housing Report.

The figure listed under "Leveled Enrollment" is the traditional IHSA enrollment, including modifications for single-sex and three-year high schools.

The figure listed under "Adjusted Enrollment" includes the 1.65 multiplier on non-boundaried schools and is the official IHSA enrollment during the 2008-09 school term for all sports and activities. (Football uses the adjusted enrollment to calculate the "football enrollment."

5.12.08 Membership Applications:

Will be as "paperfree" as possible and intake will be performed

online in mid-June, so stay tuned!

5.12.08 Regional Competition Season: The Schedule will be posted here by June 15th.

4-14-08 Board of Directors - Congratulations to Dana Butikofer, Amy Drewno, and Chris Stachera who were elected to the TDI Board of Directors! Dana, Amy, and Chris's term will officially begin on July 1, 2008 and run until June 30, 2011.
