What is the TDI Academy Division?
The TDI Academy Division offers instructional courses designed for both students and coaches on various topics affecting teams today. They also offer the State's only Dance / Flag Coach Association and Certification program.

What is the TDI Competition Division?
The TDI Competition division offers professionally certified Dance and Flag judges for all events. For additional competition information and a copy of the TDY Score sheets, please click on the TDI Competition link below.
During the 2008-2009 competition season there were 10 dance competition sites and 6 flag competition sites hosting TDY events, leading up to a culminating event called the "Final Frenzy". What divisions and ages does TDY offer competition to?
Youth Level One (YL1 / PREP Division) - Teams consisting of LESS THAN 50% of members that have competed before. Primarily for less experienced teams with more basic skill levels that are PREPARING for a more advanced level of performing and competition.
Youth Level Two (YL2 Division) - Teams consisting of MORE THAN 50% of members that have previously competed. Teams with half or more of the members attempting to achieve more difficult skills, tricks and combinations, such as a double pirouette, calypso, switch leap or split leap.
Generally teams with 9th grade members should compete in YL2.
TDY strives to achieve and provide healthy and fair competition. If a team clearly belongs in a different division the HCO will inform the coach to ensure proper division placement at any following TDY contests.
